Tagaytay has traditionally been one of the most visited tourism destinations in the Philippines. The cool weather in Tagaytay, along with the spectacular view of Taal Volcano is just one of a few myriad of reasons for this to be a popular tourist destination to both local and foreign visitors. Being relatively close to the capital city of Manila, Tagayatay is also a great place to sample pockets of Filipino cuisines, which was stemmed from the influences of Spain, China, Southeast Asia and the United States.
