Before travelling to Indonesia, it is essential to know the specific requirements of various visa types and which category you fall under. It is mandatory for all travellers to Indonesia to have a Passport that is valid for at least six (6) months from the date of arrival, and have proof (tickets) of onward or return passage.
Visa Exemption (Visa-Free Countries)
Visitors from the following
169 visa free country list are entitled for visa exemption. They will be granted entry
for up to 30 days and this stay cannot be extended.
Visa exempted visitors can use their entry into Indonesia for tourism, family visits, social visits, art and cultural activities, government duties, to deliver a speech or attend a seminar, international meetings & exhibitions with head offices or representative offices in Indonesia, or transit.
Visa on Arrival
Visitors from the following
62 visa-on-arrival list can apply for this visa upon arrival in Indonesia. A holder
of this visa-on-arrival is given a 30 days stay, which can be extended for an additional 30 days
in the Immigration Office for 1 (one) time.
VISA Application at Indonesia Embassies or Consulates
Visitors from countries that are not applicable for Visa Exemption or Visa-on-Arrival must apply for visa
at Indonesia Embassies
or Consulates in their home country. Please note that visas are mandatory and cannot be
replaced by any invitation or immigration letters. The visa has to be administered by the Visa
Officer in the presence of the applicant concerned.

The notification will include an invitation to participate in the conference and all associated activities.
